A place for stories, philosophies, and words. -Sol Nuss

Hello fam,
This is Sol. Happy Tuesday—well, about to be Wednesday in 2 minutes. Anyway, today’s topic is value.
Your worth and value are determined, first and foremost, by you. Everyone deserves to know their worth and set high standards for themselves.
There’s a story I like to share: A father gave his daughter an ’80s Lamborghini for her birthday. He told her, “Take it to a pawn shop and see what it’s worth.” She did, and they offered her $10,000.
Her dad said, “Okay, now take it to a car shop, somewhere they buy cars from.” She went, and they estimated $50,000. Excited, she ran home to tell him.
Then he said, “Alright, now take it to a vintage luxury car collector.” She did—and they offered $120,000.
The lesson? Value is subjective. What one person sees as valuable might mean nothing to someone else.
Your worth should always start with how you see yourself. But secondarily, if the people around you don’t recognize or respect that value… maybe you’re in the wrong room.
Stay tuned for the next blog, where we’ll dive into the concept of “Change”—a topic I’ll be coming back to a lot in the future. It’s something that touches every part of life, and I can’t wait to explore it with you all.
Sincerely, Sol
P.s. Still grasping the concept of what a website means, does, and is. Patience for favor. 🙂
